Peter entered the insurance business as an agent with New York Life Insurance Company in Boston, Massachusetts in 1975. In his first three years, he was a Million Dollar Round Table member and a Centurion insuring over 100 lives per year. He was appointed Assistant Manager responsible for the recruiting, training, and development of new agents. As a top recruiter for New York Life, he was promoted to General Manager in 1982.

Assuming responsibility of his first office, he faced the challenge of taking over an office that ranked #300 out of 340 offices. In twenty-four months he was able to turn the office around to where it ranked #15 in growth in the Company. This resulted in his being appointed a Regional Vice President, the youngest ever in the history of New York Life. After six years as a regional officer and achieving #1 position amongst his peers, Peter decided to return to branch management.

As Managing Partner of the Big Apple General Office, Peter has taken his office from #22 in overall production to #1 in eight years.
