Alternate route suggestion from an employee: "Take the 3 or 9 train one stop to Times Square. Transfer to the shuttle to Grand Central Station. Then transfer to the 6 (downtown) train to 28th street station. While this route sounds like a lot, but the total trip takes about 15-20 minutes and you never have to walk outside. It works well in January and February."

Alternate route suggestion from an employee: "Take the 7 train to Grand Central Station. Then switch to the downtown local 6 train to 28th Street, essentially in the basement of the Home Office."
